back cinch

I need a back cinch for. my horse and I was wondering what size I need if any one know please tell me thank you

Are you sure you need a back cinch for a mini pony? And do you mean a Mini or a Pony, there’s a size difference.

I don’t think back cinches normally come in sizes, since there is so much adjustment on each side of the saddle. Unless you have a draft, maybe, you should be good with a regular horse size.

The trouble answering this thread is that there is not really a “mini pony”.
While you may call a very small pony a mini pony, they are really either a pony or a mini, meaning miniature horse, that means under a very small height for even a small pony.

So, if you tell us if you have a real pony, but very small, like a shetland, that is one size.
If you have a real miniature horse, then that is even smaller.

As others have said, flank cinches for most horses don’t really come in several standard sizes with small increments, but most are about the same size, but you can adjust how they fit on both sides.

I expect for smaller pony saddles they make them smaller, that also may be determined around one size, very adjustable again by the flank straps.

This leather company makes all kinds of cinches, also pony gear.
You could ask them if they have one of the size you need, or they may make you one:

Maybe if you could measure your mini pony at the withers and give us that measure, someone with a similar sized pony could answer you better?

You edited your original post.

Is this a mini horse/pony or not?

Most “normal” sized horse back cinches do not really come in different sizes. That’s why they have buckles/holes and adjustments.

its a mini

Why do you need a back cinch for a western saddle on a Mini?

becuse the saddle slieds up and i got one and it fits and helps now the saddle fit is better and all around fits

You ride a Mini in a Western saddle? How tall is it and how tall are you?

Just really, honestly having trouble picturing a Western saddle and a rider on a 34" Mini. Even a 38" Mini, doing anything strenuous enough to need a back cinch to keep a saddle from sliding forward.

Its for my Daughter and she is Doing trails

OK, wouldn’t a crupper strap do a better job? It’s desingned to keep saddles from sliding forward, particularly on Ponies. Back cinch really isn’t. More to keep back of saddle from tipping up, not keep the whole thing from sliding forward when theres not enough shoulder to keep it in place.
