Back on Track sheets-new design

I thought there was a thread about this, but I can’t find it…. I have the original version of the bot sheet. It slides back and gets tight in the chest. Does anyone have the new design? Does it fit better? Thanks!

It fits the same on my horse. I used some clips to alter the front so it strangles my horse less.

Thank you…:grinning:. You just saved me money. I’m really disappointed, though. I wonder if they fit any horse well.

Yeah. To me - the cut is the same as the original. They’re OK on my horse with flater shoulders and a high croup who can generally wear blankets with straight front attachments. They’re awful on my more uphill horse with more substantial shoulders.

I found they did fit my horse slightly better in the shoulders. He is pretty narrow to begin with, though. I will note one important (to me, anyway) change: they no longer have rings for attaching leg straps. I ended up sewing some on myself because my guy will wiggle out of a sheet overnight and rip it to shreds if he doesn’t have leg straps.

I’ve had better luck with the fit on all the “knock-offs”: Schneider’s, Smartpak, and the Rambo Ionic.

Thanks, everyone, who has chimed in.

@joiedevie99, which Rambo style do you have? I’m debating between the mesh and the stable sheet. Is the mesh scratchy like a fly sheet??

I have the original black cotton-type sheet with orange trim. The little ionic dots don’t last forever, but I got at least four good years out of it.
