Understatement! And another one talking about it all being down to his horse’s “big heart.” Swoon.

Astier Nicolas seems to have suggested that some of the distances weren’t measured correctly, especially the one stride out of the water.

Roncoroni retired after two refusals at the same fence.

Willa Newton has a fall.

so agree:). Also so worth the FEI subscription to hear Mark Todd commenting on xc now!!

Listening to Mark Todd, he’s quietly bashing this course.

Wow, that hosre was VERY aware of the human below it. So surprised she did not get stepped on.

Can everyone see it now/

Mark Todd agreeing with Astier re:distances.

Lydia Hannon 1:13 over the time 94.3 pens.

Yes, yes, yes – that horse deserves big pats for getting stopped within a step or two on that steep slope, thus not stepping on Willa. She should have been all over him thanking him for being so careful to not step on her lying beneath his feet on the bottom of a slope.

“I think anyone who finishes today is going to be happy.” When Mark Todd utters those words…yikes!

Had some issues with the feed but fingers crossed it is working again and having Toddy do a bit of commentary makes it even better!

Hearing Todd say that even Jung’s horse may be facing it’s greatest challenge is telling.

Ouch for Sara. I love the comment by Todd on the confidence issues for the horses after struggle

I hope I don’t jinx him, but Austin O’Connor seems to be giving his horse a nice, confident ride.

Toddy leaving the booth for his next ride. His comments were great.

Oh good we finally get to see Jean Teuleure.

Love these riders … Lydia Hannon also over the moon over her mare.

Austin O’Connor still taking a lot of long options but the horse just keeping a rhythm.

That was clsoe on the corner. Jeans Horse looks like it hit a back leg hard, but seems okay.

WOW…First pin break on the bridge and Bittina retires. This is carnage.

Hell of a horse for the irsh. I hope it can make it around after all the faults.
