I am not the type to have subscriptions to all of the big streaming platforms, but if you can swing it I would highly recommend Badminton TV. They put a lot of effort into the production and the platform is easy to navigate. There is plenty of historical footage to make the cost even more justifiable.

If funds are tight, Radio Badminton is accessible through the website - no visual, but it is free, high quality, and will let you follow the action live.

I thought that was Boyd!

Not admitting to my husband that I recognized his voice ā€“ because he will immediately make some crack :joy:

after watching the morning rides, it just makes me aware of how good a rider Boyd is. Pippa had several unfortunate moments, and somone else did too. The judging seems to be all over the place. Sometimes on the same movement, it goes from 5.5 to 7.

I noticed that ā€“ lots of score variation among the judges!

Boyd is doing quite well as an announcer. He not afraid to point out flaws. I like his discussion on course designers and national riding styles.

At my most recent clinic with Boyd, he told me my homebred mare was a ā€œquality jumperā€ - DH was there videotaping (heā€™s a wonderfully supportive ā€œhorse helperā€), Being a ridiculous, jealous Italian, he thought that Boyd was flirting with me. Yeah, right ā€“ Iā€™m 67!

OMG poor Will!!

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen anyone get a 1 at a five starā€¦

I have so much FOMO but since I just started a new job and havenā€™t been paid yet, I canā€™t do the subscription so I am living vicariously through all of you!

there were a couple this morning! Pippa was having a bit of a nervous ride when her horse exploded at the halt. He reared up and leaped sideways about 5 feet. Of course none of us have ever done that , ha ha. Then she pushed directly into the canter, there was no reinback, and yet the judge at H gave her a 4 on the rein back. There were several 1s and 2s from several riders, but I do not remember exactly who at the moment.,

Wow! I wish I had seen the morning session ā€“ sounds ā€œinterestingā€ :anguished: Oof, poor Pippa.

I always find it reassuring when the top riders in the world have issues with their horses ā€“ obviously itā€™s not like they are being badly ridden.

yeah, like the Frenchman in this last bunch. He started out gangbusters with an 8 or two, and his extented trot was fabulous! Then when he went the other way, horsie said no lets canter all the way across. He had a really nice test other than that.
I like that you can click on a score and it brings up all the scores for each movement for each rider. But in the past, the graphics have shown the movements as compared to the leadng ride, and they are not doing that today.

I also thought Jessie did a much better test than a 40.
