I don’t believe this is accurate. You can go to CMH, watch something “Live” for 2-3 minutes, and then you get a pop-up insisting you subscribe.

I checked out the link. Sounds like they are rolling out a special “channel” with a “carefully curated lineup”. I don’t think they’re going to show us all the Badders dressage tests.
I was just noodling along on You Tube and I saw a video of Tom McCuen(?)'s dressage from this morning. There are LOTS of old videos of entire xc but most are quite old.

I too fell victim to an auto renewal that I discovered today thanks to this thread.
I thought I just got lucky and my 2024 subscription hadn’t expired yet. But no lo and behold clip my horse renewed my subscription on April 15.
No notification no approval somehow they received my credit card info from the badminton app and renewed it.
I’m kind of mad that I was given no notification, I was going to renew it anyway to watch badders- but still what the heck.

My situation exactly. I was going to renew but CMH did it for me. 
There are some competitions that you can watch free, live, with a USEF fan membership but you cannot watch replays, as you can with a subscribing or competing USEF membership. To watch Badminton you have to pay the the $25 for Badminton TV.
Well worth it so I don’t have to get up at an ungodly hour to watch and I can replay all the rides as many times as I want, for a year.
Off to watch the Eventing Dressage that I missed today.

I’m rather annoyed that Badminton gave my credit card info to CMH. I don’t know that they had the legal right to do so. Though the laws are probably different in Britain and Europe.
In any event, since the coverage has so far been quite good, other than the mess with the jog on Wednesday; and if we can watch replays (I have not tried yet, but missed Ollie’s and Ros’ tests and would like to see them), $40 Canadian is a fair price. I hope they offer single event purchase option for WEG next year.

their knowledge, their different perspectives, their different comments are so appreciated by this lower level smurf competitor.
Polly, as well as someone yesterday, explained what exactly is expected from the Pirouette. Until now, I had no idea why one got a 4 and another a 7.
Also, I think it was Polly, who explained “true” vs “not true” on the flying changes. I have heard those expressions 100 times, but I do not recall anyone spelling out what it means.

Oh I think you’re right. I didn’t read the details that closely but can see now the references that seem to indicate just a selection not all events
Can someone give me a quick walk through? I signed up for a USEF fan membership to watch KY. I understand there is an additional fee for Badminton. Do I pay that to USEF or CMH? And what ungodly hour do I need to get up tomorrow to watch live? Or does paying for Badminton mean I can watch it on replay?
Sorry, I just know someone here will know the answers faster than I can figure it out myself (while I’m working, lol)
you will have to pay CMH and be SURE it is a one time fee. Don’t know about the replays.

The Badminton season pass is directly through Clipmyhorse, about 20 or 30 quid. You may be prompted to buy the full premium subscription, you do not need it. The Badminton pass will also allow you to watch replays once coverage has ended, I’ve heard mixed reports about being able to rewind during the live feed.
First horse leaves the box 11:30 local time… so 6:30 eastern I believe?

This is an important point! I think the default is for auto-renewal. Double check that you cancel the sub if you don’t fancy a surprise bill next year

Is anyone else having trouble with the archived stream? It won’t play for me - I get about 2 minutes then get an error that says “can’t play stream”. This is has been going on for 30 minutes 
I’m super annoyed as I planned my day around watching the cross country in the morning.
Mine isn’t working either. Darn it.
