I’m looking for spurs, have not bought any for years. From what I understand the Sprenger Balkenhol spurs are classified that based on where the spur strap fits. I have seen some stubben spurs on line and the slots for the spur straps look similar to the Balkenhol spurs. Are the stubben spurs a “knock off” on the Balkenhol design? I don’t see the word Balkenhol in the stubben spur description. Does anyone know what the difference in the spur attachment is?
