Hello! I have a few horses with some foot issues (one has mild navicular and one has a low heels/long toes situation) and I am looking for a good barefoot farrier in Kentucky (I am located in Richmond). I am not opposed to shoes, but we have tried shoes for a while with these horses and it seems to be doing more harm than good at this point (their feet just cannot hold a shoe!). My current farrier is just not willing to seek out another solution. I want to work with someone who is really willing to figure out what is best for these horses. I’d love to hear personal stories too, not just a list of names! Thanks!
