I have a new rescue OTTB who has long toes, thin soles, and has abscessed in the past. He’s currently barefoot and I would like to keep it that way but also improve his feet. He won’t be in any heavy work for a while so if I can get them to grow out naturally that would be ideal. Can anyone recommend a good natural/barefoot trimmer that works in the central PA area around Lewisburg?
My trimmer has trained with Daisy Bicking, who specializes in all sorts of problems including laminitis. http://www.daisyhavenfarm.com She may have a list of trimmers that worked with her, or contact her. I think she’s near Lancaster.
