Barisone KROL this Friday, 5/26

Where on earth did I say it was nefarious?

Jesus. All I said was I was surprised that it was on a Friday that many people use as a ramp up to the holiday. That’s it. The judge can schedule it whenever they want.

I admit, that I was surprised by the date that was picked also.

But then, we are dealing with Judge T here. He has his own unique way of doing things.

Yeah. and I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor “suddenly” decides he is going to take Friday off so he can have a 4-day weekend.

Edited to add that I hope he DOESN’T do that at the last minute (or even with a few days notice). Not that him actually holding the hearing as planned and allowing MB more (or complete) freedom will redeem him in my eyes. I still think he was a jerk during the criminal trial and at the other Krol hearing.

I didn’t accuse you of saying that.

There’s a tenor in this thread that it’s suspicious in some way that a hearing is scheduled for that day and I’m simply pointing out it’s not.

I’m not sure why you’re so defensive but if I somehow made you feel like I was putting words in your mouth it wasn’t my intention.

I agree with your “tenor.” It feels like we are all on edge.

FWIW, here in SoCal they schedule trial selections on Black Friday – the day after Thanksgiving. I learned I should request those dates to serve as Juror because they always seem to get resolved/cancelled and no trial.

Maybe some local people can attend with giant angel wings to shield him from the bad energy emanating off the Ks.
Kinda like Westboro Baptist counter-protesters.

I hope not. LK does not merit any more attention. This hearing is about MB and his mental wellness.

I’m hoping the holiday weekend doesn’t mean it will get postponed, as another act to prolong Michael’s illegal imprisonment.

I am really hoping this thread can steer clear of falling into the old trap of responding to certain posters that want to rehash EVERYTHING since August 2019. There are so many on here that really add to the discussion and I don’t want to see the thread dragged to the bottom again. This is for discussion of the Kroll hearing ONLY.

But, I want to talk about my love for Squire-L!!!

Squirrels are always welcome. :chipmunk::chipmunk:

My dogs disagree. So does the cat. The squirrels like to sit on the back steps and eat nuts while staring at the sliding door & wind up the irritated indoor pets.

“Cheeky jumped-up Squire L!” is how they view them.

We have a squirrel who likes to sit on the fence next a window and peep on us. Makes my dogs CRAZY.

I also hope it happens tomorrow! I’m surprised they scheduled it that way thought. Heck I had a dr appt tomorrow. When I made the appt she was “working a half day”. Then I got a call last week asking me to reschedule because she “has a surgery” tomorrow. Ummm. . . . right. Probably she decided to take the whole day off. Hopefully that doesn’t happen with this judge!

My dog thinks that her job in life, besides fetching, is to keep the devil Squire Ls out of the backyard. One of the cats threatens to go through the front window when she sees one in the flowerbox.

Perhaps if we can refrain from commenting on other’s posts before they are even made (ahem) we can avoid interpersonal conflict.

Here is to the best decision being made for MB’s mental health.

Don’t take the bait! Tomorrow there will hopefully lots of relevant and positive things to discuss.

While tomorrow’s scheduled hearing is not quite new information, MB’s lawsuit against his insurance companies was moved to federal court a few days ago and a judge and magistrate have been assigned.

May the decisions made tomorrow be the best for MB’s mental health.

Care to share a link of where you got this information, so I can go look things up myself?

The last entry on the New Jersey civil courts portal a few days ago (5/12/2023) was a posting from the insurance companies to move the trial and why. Then a few days later I googled (no surprise there) the name of the trial “Barisone vs Farm Family Casualty et al” and several federal law news sites had information on the move and who was assigned. The documents as to the why are on the New Jersey civil courts portal site. It was Great American who requested the move on its behalf and the others because MB resides in NJ, two insurance companies are in New York and one is in Texas, multiple states. There is more to it but that was the simple answer…
