I think I might lose quite a bit of faith in humanity if he’s convicted on the word of two obvious liars, who couldn’t even get together on the same story, that admitted under oath to plotting to engage in criminal acts against him and to destroy him.
Uh, no, they all contradicted each other…and then were proven to have lied about other things in their testimony.
Addressing this and @Angela_Freda - my main point was that their testimony is still evidence. And like any piece of evidence, yes, absolutely the jury decides what weight to give it. The jury can think that their credibility is shot and disregard all their testimony.
But. That leaves you with one woman shot, and no other theory for how she ended up shot. So a jury can decide that she is terrible person with a penchant for lying - who is telling the truth about how she got shot. We’ll (eventually) see what they decide to do.
That would be an excellent title.
I also think it’s interesting to see how dramatically the legal talking heads changed their tunes over the course of the trial.
At the start, they seemed to think it was ridiculous, and it should never have even gone to trial, etc., etc.
But they really changed their minds once they saw the witnesses on the stand. I wonder why?
Uncontradicted that MB shot her. There has been no other theory/suspect offered by defense. Yes, absolutely other contradictions.
I lack faith in ED’s testimony since he couldn’t even remember RG being present at the meeting the day prior. He also testified that he heard LK say “Michael is here”. Was that after the phone was handed to LK? If so, why was that not mentioned in either LK’s or RG’s testimony? Its a minor point, but it still stood out as weird to me.

That woman also testified that she couldn’t access the office…and then when read an email/text to her father/RG where she was telling them she could access the office and could now forge signatures and fake contracts and do “whatever else they needed to do”….had to backtrack and admit she said that and hence she lied about being able to access the office.
Someone who could contemplate forging signatures and contracts is someone who would (not could) lie about how they got shot, especially after testifying that have a vendetta.
I wonder if the time they spent watching the psychiatrist testimony today throws off the math for hours of deliberation, though. Do those three hours count? 
The judge is discussing this now - effectively saying that despite her being impeached, there has not been enough evidence to support the idea that MB was beat before he shot her and therefore self-defense is being barred.
I genuinely do not think whether MB shot LK is actually in dispute here. The defense has not put it in dispute. So you can think she is lying and she she somehow got shot by someone else (???) but as a legal matter - that does not seem to be a fact in dispute.
I kind of want to but then would get nothing done at work. LOL
I hope the insanity sticking point is about the gun charges. Simring is the one that testified that Mb grabbed the gun as a response to his delusional fears of being killed/needing protection.
