Has anyone who knows MB seen that expression he has of knitting his brows together and glaring kind-of out of the top of his head?
I am completely shocked at MH’s complete lack of emotion.
Wow, at Barisone’s comment about horses.
This questioning about the texts is going somewhere and it’s apparently trying to portray MB as mean or somewhat aggressive.
My guess is it will tie in to why LK wanted someone else to start riding her horses, or that she threatened to out him as being rough with the horses?
yeah, did that text say what I thought it said?
What did it say?
The sound is cutting in and out. We’ll need to review transcripts later.
I don’t know her, but she looks like a deer in the headlights. completely unaware of what might be coming, and very anxious.
What re the 3 things he never wants to hear a rider say? I didnt catch that.
We probably thought the same thing. “You will do what I tell you to do” “Or I’ll beat your ass”. Not exact words, but close. (and with an F-bomb thrown in for good measure)
Having ridden with quite a few male top dressage trainers, my opinion is they are all too rough. Some don’t even know their strength, especially those that are 6 ft tall and big boned.
The quote said something about the horse will do what I ask and be completely safe for me or I will beat it. I might be making a bad quote, please correct me if I’m wrong.
That’s substantially what I heard as well.
ETA: My audio was fine, and my understanding was that he was talking about the horses, not a human.
Having ridden with Michael Barisone in the past, I can say I never found him to be rough at all, and I saw him ride quite a lot. He was straightforward and no-nonsense, but not rough or mean.
It sounded like it was the horse or her, but the audio has been problematic, so I think transcripts would be useful in seeing what’s what with those.
Well good for you. I will say this…trainers behave differently when with their long time clients from what they do in clinics.
well his texts say otherwise, he is just smart enough to not do it in public.
I don’t remember but they were typical of most trainers, like “I can’t” and “I wont” or something. Did not make me feel uncomfortable. I would like to hear a trainer say them, as I want a trainer to get me out of my own head and onto my work, but I forget them now.
Not to mention RG is running around, free, chasing the dog, and able to move or alter evidence.
@Knights_Mom, is it a courthouse thing to have those little tiny cups for water? Maybe they shoud use them to make jello shots. It might make trials more interesting.
