I would find it astonishing if that barn doesn’t already know a lot of this. Maybe not the details discussed over the past few years on this forum but this is HUGE news in the dressage world. How can they not be aware?
And @DownYonder you mentioned something in the other thread that I find very believable. That RG will go out of his way to ‘shoulder bump’ MB at a show/tack or feed store. Just to goad him in to a reaction. He SO looks like that kind of guy!

My god, she is a sick, mean, effed up thing. But that’s not exactly a newsflash.
I was trying to imagine being the most disliked person in American dressage if not all of equestrian sports. That Olympic medalists and the top competitors in the country would not only refuse to teach you but would leave the room if you walked in … And those same people and thousands more support and love the person you most wanted to destroy.
Yet, doesn’t seem to faze her at all, she’s right back at it with her toxic pollution. And why are the people around her clearly enabling and supporting this behavior? She needs some serious counseling.
no you should NOT harass the barn owners. Let them deal with what they need to do. People need support not harassment at the barn.

MB was not dealing with a negative person or event; he was dealing with a person who took great joy in trying to destroy other people. I have dealt with someone like this. Even the most sane person can be sucked in by them in the beginning and then struggle to find their footing when they realize what they are dealing with. The only way to deal with a person like LK is to back away slowly, never taking your eyes off of them and when you are at a safe distance RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. Unfortunately for MB, the living arrangements made that impossible.

Agreed. They probably took her in thinking that they were doing a nice thing helping the “victim” recover and move on, and presumably she’d been at other barn(s) prior to MB’s without (major) incident so they may not have realized the extent of her behavior. And now, they’re probably well aware of what happened last time someone tried to get her to leave their barn!
I do think that she does not deserve to be accepted as a member of the horse community, but attacking her current barn isn’t the right way to deal with it.

I’ve read it and it’s some of the foulest words I’ve ever seen strung together. There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever for that. At the same time, I am sure the people running the barn where LK rides now are very well aware of what is going on and they should be allowed to proceed with their business in whatever way they choose without a bunch of strangers harassing them.

I agree with you no strangers should harass them. I do hope they have people who care about them who also see it and make them aware and then help and support them to extricate themselves from these two. I feel very sorry for them and very worried for them given what happened last time a BO wanted her to move out. Especially with the little kids there.
I’d be absolutely terrified in their position.
