Barisone Verdict Is In: Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity

Dang it! I’m still reading the other post trying to catch up before someone posted the verdict!

I am so happy to hear he was found Not Guilty. Now he can start rebuilding his life. I hope he can find a way to move past this. Maybe lots of horse time?

That poor man looked completely and utterly broken. I hope he gets the help he needs and is able to live a peaceful life.

Why the actual hell, if it is LK’s mother, is the mother posting about the case on a public bulletin board? The family seems to be absolutely dysfunctional, lacking any judgement, and vile. What does posting on a BB prove or achieve? Good lord there are some really really despicable people out there.

So now it’s MBs fault he took in that client? It’s his fault his crystal ball wasn’t charged properly?

Do you even see what you’re saying?

Incredible. No wonder she is defective.

I think that’s the icing on the cake.

One day, I think MB was be released as a much healthier and stable man. When he does, he may look back at this and see all the comments on social media supporting him and he will be able to smile and know.

I am astounded by some of the posts by LK’s mom and others. Posts almost of celebration and congratulations. Praise for someone who sought to ruin a man - FINISH THE BASTARD - and all but did.

That is indeed something to be be so very, very proud of. Awesome. Pop the champagne!!

Unbelievable.

Do you have ANY evidence for this or do you just enjoy spewing psychobabble?

I can’t tell if you’re consciously trying to victim blame or if you just have so little self awareness that you don’t communicate very well.

I think I know where that mysterious third bullet went.

That oh-so-clever move of turning off/removing/losing/wiping the camera? You know, adding to the Reasonable Doubt of what actually happened?

That bullet is in RG’s foot!

When it comes to mental health issues, it is nobody’s fault. He will come back from this, but he will not come back the same man. I know this from personal experience. My father went into a deep depression after losing a big contract. I never knew depression could be so frightening. That happened when he was 52. He sold his business and never worked again. He did a lot of volunteer work, but he walked away from the profession that had sustained our family. Thank goodness my mother was about as stable as they come. I only saw flashes of the father I remembered in the ensuing 28 years until his death. I didn’t love him any less, but I mourned the loss of our rock.

You’ve heard the expression about shooting yourself in the foot?

It appears you’ve taken that quote out of context. Why? MB is pitiable, but he wasn’t the one shot. I’m not victim blaming, just pointing out that LK did not cause MB’s mental illness. She sure didn’t help his situation, but he was already in trouble. How is that victim blaming?

Who made him insane though?

You’re focusing on his issues without noting that LK actively prayed on him. And you have zero context around the affair and probably shouldn’t be referencing it here. Read the room bruh

She actually did contribute mightily to his mental illness. Did you watch the trial? Listen to the expert witnesses?

Compare it to a physical wound. Someone who has a bruise on their side. Then, another person comes along and beats on them. And the bruise turns into a serious hematoma.

That’s what happened to this guy’s psyche.

The jury found that the state proved all the elements of its case on the issue of attempted murder of LK, consistent with her testimony.

MB was decided to be not criminally liable for the crime he committed* because he met the bar for criminal insanity.

Was LK called as a witness regarding the issue of whether MB was or wasn’t insane?
