Barn manager/professional pay?

I pay my groom about 20% or so more than this. And I house him in a private 2 bedroom home with cable, internet electric heat and a/c all included. and he gets bonuses.

I would think instructor/manager would make more than a groom, because it’s a higher skill, higher responsibility job. I feel bad for anyone who thinks they need to take that job to get into this business.

@Libby2563 The OP says that there are multiple other employees, and does not specify that the duties listed would be the sole responsibility of the person hired. For example, I have a part-time employee that performs a variety of duties quite similar to what is listed in the OP, but because they are not the person solely responsible for those tasks, it’s a manageable PT job. Of course, it’s impossible to know without interviewing what exactly the situation is. If I were interviewing for the job in question I would have a lot of specific questions about hours expected and provisions for OT pay.
