It looks like I’ll be moving to El Paso at the beginning of 2021 and I’d like to find a barn/trainer there.
I did some google searching, and only found one barn that advertised jumping lessons. It looks like they go to some bigger shows in NM/CO, but looking through photos/videos of their riders, I can’t say I was impressed. I saw lots of pinchy knees, floppy legs, jumping ahead and falling on the neck after small fences - even on riders who have apparently been riding there for years…
Does anyone have any recommendations? It looks like there are lots of OTTBs in the area and I’d even be happy to just school youngsters as they come off the track. We’ll be there for a year for my husband’s deployment at Fort Bliss and frankly I’m just desperate to keep riding.
