I will be moving to Chester County, PA in the near future and am looking for a barn to board my 6yo gelding . I have a strong interest in dressage, with the goal to get my bronze medal in the next year or so, and lower level eventing (BN, N, T). I am looking for something with a training program for lessons and training rides given my future work schedule. I know there are a ton of big names in this area, but not sure about the boarding situation. TIA!
Danielle “Dani” Toscano, who is a trainer and a dressage judge, is probably closest. Her Pony Island Stable is in Kennett, close to Longwood Gardens.
Karen Reilly is a little further, in West Grove.
A number of other trainers, such as Emily Donaldson and Silva Martin, are further south, in southern Chester County.
