Hi everyone,
okay so here is my situation. I’m not a totally inexperienced rider. I’ve done some riding, but I’ve had next to no formal training, so I know I definitely need some lessons. That being said, I desperately want to start barrel racing, but I’m not ready yet to invest in my own horse. I just want to get in the saddle again and do some serious training. I live in the Auburn area, but I’m from Birmingham so I’ve looked into some places to take lessons around there also. Does anyone have any suggestions? A couple of the places I’ve looked at are the Stables at Shiloh Farms in Auburn and Hegeman Farms in Anniston… mostly because these are some of the only places I’ve found that actually advertise that they teach barrel racing.
