Bates Webbers- How are they for a Devoucoux?

Hello! I have a pair of the Bates leather Webbers and was wondering if anyone’s used them on a calfskin Devoucoux? Im in the process of purchasing a used Devoucoux and want to make sure that the leather isn’t compromised. Thanks for your advice!

I used/still use them on a new Frank Baines with no issue/damage. I like not having the buckle under my leg and the ease of adjusting the length.I have buffalo flaps on the Baines, so a little more durable than straight calfskin, but haven’t noticed any odd rubs.

You might also look at the Prestige Ultimate dressage leathers. They’re a similar style and I think the leather is higher quality.

I love Bates Webbers. They fit on any saddle.
