Bathtub Nozzle/Spout Adapter for Cat to Drink From

Any ideas? I am letting my bathtub faucet trickle for my old kitty to drink from. The problem is that there are two trickles and a drip. She will drink from the trickle, but she hates getting hit in the head by the drip, plus it mats her ruff. I am trying to rig up some sort of cover for the nozzle that will funnel the 2 streams and the drip into one stream.

Do you know anything that might work? It has to be easy to put on and take off, because the nozzle ends in a ring that you have to pull down in order to switch the water to the shower. I am thinking of getting a shower hose adapter that will fit over the end of the faucet and the ring. Then I can cut off all but a couple of inches of the hose and let that funnel the separate streams into one stream. Would that work?

The nozzle looks like this:

Posted a couple ideas on you OT thread

Hope something works.

Thanks, csaper58. Kitty is like her younger self these days. Yay! She is drinking only from the tub spout, she is eating well again, and yesterday she even slapped my 12yo kitty when 12yo decided she wanted to share sleeping space on the sofa.
This morning she got into bed with us (12yo kitty and me) and did her old nuzzle-wake-up greeting, which she hadn’t done in a long long time. It is so wonderful to know she is feeling so good again! (And it’s good to get to sleep through the night too.)
