Hey there, I need to vent about this company. I ordered and paid for a solarium through DriMee in January. The price according to the representative was for the solarium and door to door delivery in 30 days. I went ahead and made the purchase. I received confirmation of the order and noticed that the shipping address was wrong, and sent a correction. They said great and that was that. I wait three months, then I get a call saying that the product was in customs and since the right forms were not filled out I owed a $500.00 fee, and then I also needed to secure a broker to get the item through customs which was another $350.00. Again, I noticed the address is incorrect and I tell them that it needs revision. They say yeah, yeah, yeah we have it not a problem. Now we are at May 10th and I get a call that the solarium is in the states but since the delivery address is incorrect it is another $150.00 to change to the correct address…and that DriMee told them I had a loading dock and I am residential it will be another $147.00 on top of that… I thought I had investigated and asked all the right questions, and apparently I have a problem. I have reached out on multiple occasions to DriMee and basically it is out of their hands according to them. I want others to be aware, if you are doing business with them they are less than up front and I am appalled that here we are in mid May and I have nothing to show for it other than a bleeding credit card. I have again reached out to DriMee as I think that they should pay the additional freight at this point since they were notified at the time of order and at least three other occasions that the address was incorrect. Please be careful if you use this company. IfI have problems with the unit I doubt that I will have any support based on how this went down. They were very helpful until the order was placed, then not so much! I had another Irishcompany Equilume send a large product order to me with customs and I had no hassles and it arrived in under 30 days. Clean crisp and efficient. Thank you Equilume. I wish I would have seen this earlier! I have the same problem! He took the money same day I called to inquire (DEC 2nd 2019) and it took me over 2 months (not 2 weeks like he promised) to receive the light but I have yet to get the coin operator and the spare bulbs that I also bought. And now he won’t respond to emails. This unit is useless for me without the rest of the part since I run a boarding facility and wouldn’t be able to monitor the use without the coin operator. And not being able to get spare bulbs for it, renders it useless too. Drimee is a SCAM.
Agreed. I purchased a solarium last year at Land Rover in KY. He told me it would arrive in about 6 weeks. 4 months later, and a lot of credit card company drama, I finally received the solarium. And then the harassment started where he said he hadn’t been paid and needed my credit card company to write a letter stating the charge had been processed. I sent him a screen shot of my statement clearly showing the payment, and he kept telling me he didn’t get it. Long story short, my CC company told me to just not take his calls and to ignore his threats of legal action because I had paid. It was his CC processor who wouldn’t pay him, which isn’t my problem.
Anyway, I love the solarium, but the company was awful. I even let the organizers of Land Rover know about the issues so they can think twice about having him back as a vendor. They were thankful I flagged the issue for them.Schedule

I would be calling your credit card company and say you never received and get the charges reversed.
Yes I paid as they blamed the whole screw up on me. It was an AWFUL experience. Fortunately the unit has run well and has not needed anything, but WTF? They claimed I was the first international order, and hence all the issues. They had the audacity to reach out and ask me to be a reference to US buyers… I said “you have to be sh*****g me… NO! I was appalled at how I was treated. The lack of professionalism just dropped once they had my payment. I like the product, but I would never, ever recommend using them. I am glad I posted this and I am glad (in a way) that I am not alone!
Report the company to the Federal Trade Commission for what its worth and report them to what ever is similar or like the BBB in the country where they are located.
I would have said I would be happy to be a reference for US customers. And they I would have been a very honest reference.

I FINALLY have all the parts for my solarium. It only took 5 months, versus the promised 2 weeks. I was told they are now assembled in the USA, which I have a hard time believing since mine arrived with UK plugs etc. I also paid for the coin-operated timer which arrived straight from the UK. My question is…has anyone installed one of these lights with the coin-operated timer? Seems like it runs at 110v. I am so over Drimee at this point. grrr
