Awww, this brings tears to my eyes. And I think it’s true. I let my 18 year old go to the rainbow bridge a couple of months ago (I still have quite a herd living with me), and a few months later, guess what shows up? A five month old little female kitty who said “I heard there is an older lady who lives here who has a soft spot for kitties and has room now. Could I come in? I’m cold and hungry”. And the rest is history. She fit right in with the rest of the team within 36 hours and my foster failure now has his second youngster to educate. He revels in his responsibility.
