Beginner kid lesson barn near Charlotte NC

Coworker of mine is wanting to get his nieces into riding - he rides western but there’s almost nothing for dead beginners in the area. I’m farther north and new to the area so less familiar with the barns.

Any suggestions would be wonderful, my coworker believes the kiddos would love to show eventually - they do ballet and loved practicing and getting dressed up for their productions. Looking for something safe with good basics that goes to local shows (not necessarily an A barn), and that doesn’t have a lease/buy requirement. Kids are young, under ten and under 13.

I have taken lessons there for over a decade. They do beginner riders, have lesson horses, they have an excellent 4-H program, and many kids ride there. There is also room for adults from absolute beginners to experienced riders.

It took me a long time to find this stable and I hope I never have to find another one. It is not “perfect” (personally I would LOVE to have a big field to ride in but that is rare nowadays) but it is a lot better than a lot of stables that take beginning children riders. It is also a stable where I would not hesitate to drop my grandsons off at so long as the barn staff was around. While they lease horses it is NOT required to take lessons. I can even have homework rides on their lesson horses.
