Beginner lessons in Maine

Hi, my daughter is in Farmington, Maine and I am looking for a lesson barn for her. She is in her 40s and a complete beginner in horses. Althogh we had a horse at home when she was a teen, there has been nothing fir her since, and now that she makes good money, horses are coming. I want to find a lesson barn for a beginning rider, learning correctly wirh dressagecwould be ordeal, and a barn where there even may be a lease horse in the future would be ideal. Middle, West, Maine to coast. Of course she drives. She’s tall, 5’10", very fit, just hiked the 100 mile part of the AT. Any steering would be helpful, thanks.

Pendragon Equestrian Center in Cornville, ME. (Just outside of Skowhegan) Sandy Porter Bean was one of my first pony club instructors in the 1980s, and her daughter Audrey has joined her in the business of training and lessons. They are eventers but with a solid, correct dressage base.

You may want to look at the Maine Dressage website as well - https://mainedressage.com/

Thank you all, these are good clues.

try https://www.themainedressagesociety.org/ - larger geographic reach than SMDA (mainedressage.com)
