Being AP. Documentary of the Champion Jockey

I have searched the forum but can’t find any reference to the film titled “Being A.P.” about champion jump jockey A.P. McCoy.
It’s on Netflix and is a great documentary, for horse racing enthusiasts of every sort. Wonderful photography of jump racing. Not all sunshine and rainbows but well worth the time to watch.

If you find the irish accent difficult at times the subtitles are available.

I loved this movie! It was so beautiful and emotional. I literally cried during the Grand National footage - the juxtaposition of the beauty of the race itself with the stress on the faces of his wife and agent was just so moving to me. I really have never seen such gorgeous footage. It managed to show simultaneously both the beauty and the danger of the sport. This is a must see for any racing fan, in my opinion.

It was well done wasn’t it? It captured racing so completely. The thrill of winning and the beauty of the horses, as well as the pain that is endured and the disappointments.

The horses go so well for him. Such a great rider. Is anyone else as impressed by his hands as I am? .
