I was gonna get all huffy but I saw it’s at Saratoga while Belmont Park is getting renovated, and it’s adjusted down to 1 1/4 miles due to the configuration of the track. (I got curious and checked track records–interesting they’ve never run 1 1/2 miles. 1 1/4, 1 5/8 and 1 3/4, yes, but not 1 1/2.) sigh FINE I guess I’ll allow it.

Yes, this will forever be the Belmont result with an asterisk due to the distance. And the location.
