Best at home training program

Pretty soon, my ring will be frozen , and I will have fewer riding opportunities. I have a young horse that would benefit from staying in a program over the winter. Not hard work, but I’d like to find a program to follow that combines groundwork, light riding, connection, helping with anxiety, confidence, etc.

Any suggestions of online programs that you’ve found easy to understand, and able to replicate at home?

I’ve trialed TRT method, Warwick Schiller, Featherlight Horsemanship, but I’m looking for any other recommendations. I like step-by-step approaches/instruction, versus just talking theory.

I like Amelia Newcomb’s online programs. It is dressage focused, but she incorporates groundwork, theory, etc. Her motto is “Dressage for All”.

I have one or two of her books and quite like them. I just looked at the “fitness prescription” but she IS in California. Have you done that by chance? I wonder if it’s worth the investment when the work has to be done in an Ontario winter without an arena :frowning:

I have tried to build my own plans but there is something to be said for just being told what to do day after day when you’re old and tired with 100 other things on your plate.
