The only hoof supplement I have ever had any results with is California Trace which has high amounts of Copper and Zinc and free shipping!
Since this thread got bumped and caught my eye…I’ve been feeding the Mad Barn Cu/Zinc 3:1 supp for a few weeks now to 2 horses. They eat it very well! I am quite pleased with it, as palatability was a big concern. They get a ration balancer etc that provides the equivalent of one scoop, and I add 2 scoops of the Cu/Zn. I am hoping this will keep my black horse blacker and improve the hooves of the other horse.

Just updating to say that I bought bags of both the Biotin and Cu/Zn from Mad Barn. It seemed to be the right combo of cost, simplicity, and palatability. Both ponies started on them this week and so far so good in terms of eating it!
