Best Dark Green 3 Button Hunter Show Jacket

Hi, who makes the best hunter show coat in dark green? I am not seeing that many in green in the stores, but I do see a lot of them being worn at shows and they look great. I like the tech fabrics, but not the thin cheap looking stuff. I like a tailored, crisp look. Any suggestions?
Thanks

RJ Classic makes a really nice jacket and the green color is really nice. I tried it on the store for fit, but I am not a fan of a green coat. I preferred the gray. That being said it is the nicest one I saw and pretty middle price range.

The RJ classics green looks more of a blue/green than true hunter green IMO. Tailored sportsman makes a really lovely green https://www.argentoeq.com/collections/show-coats/products/the-tailored-sportsman-soft-shell-jacket

Ego7 Hunter Jacket! We just got them in my store and we are all obsessed. Made in Italy, beautiful fabric and drape, number holes and detachable faux cuffs for $579. I think it’s an exceptional coat for the price, and the green is lovely.

The green TS one is on sale at SmartPak right now. https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/the-tailored-sportsman-soft-shell-hunt-coat-12360

all great options. Thank you! I love the Tailored Sportsman Jacket but I have read it is very short. I am pretty short-waisted myself, so I wonder if it would be ok. The Ego7 jackets are gorgeous-the green is really nice. The RJ Classics is probably the only one I would be able to try on as the mobile tack store at the shows here carries them. But with the TS and the Ego7 I would have to mail for them.

I meant to say it looks blue online, but it really is a nice green in person. I don’t know why the pic is so bad.

Is it the same green as the shadbelly? Seriously loving the idea of a green shadbelly!!

I’ve seen the green RJ Classics shad-it is really cute. At HITS Thermal apparently people were wearing them with the TS rust colored breeches. Not sure what the judges thought of that, I think you are supposed to wear light breeches with the shads, but it sounds cute.

The RJ Monterrey green is very nice in person. I have that coat in Brown and love it. If ordering online I found they run a bit truer to size than my older wool RJ.

Yea not sure about rust breeches with a shad but I have seen someone rock the rust with a green jacket. A little too much for me to pull off but she rocked it!

Winston! I can’t find a picture of their green but it’s my favorite!

OH, hmm. I haven’t heard of Winston. Will look it up. Thanks!

Love it! Thanks for the pic! Green jackets look so great with a chestnut horse!

OK, I found their web site and all of their jackets are seriously gorgeous. I wish they had a 3 button though. All of them are 4 button. But wow, really nice.

Well I was able to find a black Tailored Sportsman jacket in a local shop to check the fit, and actually that one is not right for me. It just didn’t hang quite right on me. I also tried on two different Monterey jackets; one had a zipper inside and the other didn’t. The fit was actually really nice. I think I will most likely end up with the RJ Classics Extreme Grey Label. I can pick that one up in green I think in the mobile tack shop at one of the local shows. They are a pretty easy fit and a little less expensive than the Monterey. I really wish that Tredstep made their Symphony USA 3 button in green. I just love the fit on my blue one. The quality and tailoring on those is just great for the price.

Have you considered the AA MotionLite? They just started making it in a GORGEOUS green (my trainer has one). I have one in navy and love it, it’s 3 button. Check out my review on it for me pics/info if you are interested!

I agree with the AA MotionLite - great coats! Also, on the cheaper end of the scale, I have one of the Horseware coats in plum. I’ve been wanting to get the green version for a while! I haven’t tried them on to compare, but the AA coat is also Horseware (someone probably knows a lot more than me about it, but assuming that Horseware bought or partnered up with Alessandro Albanese to offer the Motion Lite coats at a relatively low cost too). I think the horseware coats are in the $100 range and the Motion Lite coats are $240 ish?

The MotionLite would be a smart one for me to have regardless of color-LoL I’m in California and it’s 101 degrees here right now and it will be 105 tomorrow. We actually have had a couple local A shows canceled this season due to excessive heat. That coat looks nice and cool. And it would probably be a good length on me as I am short waisted.

I believe that was the name of the colour of the green RJ shadbelly I saw in store yesterday. It was STUNNING! I wish I had a reason to own a shadbelly, and that it were a men’s cut and not women’s because i would have snapped it up in a heartbeat!
