Best digestive supplement

I am looking to get the best possible horse digestive supplement. I want something loaded with digestive enzymes, probiotics, and prebiotics and anything else good… Iam looking to get my money’s worth! What should I look for for ingredients/ amounts? Anything to stay away from? Is there a good DIY supplement?

Ive tried fastrack (all species) and probios. I’m open to anything and everything. Looking to maintain/ promote healthy digestion in my horses one of whom has gas coliced twice.

If you know what ingredients you want, HorseTech makes custom supplements.

I would definitely recommend looking at the HT supplements to start. They have a couple, IIRC.

Even before that though, have you done a deep dive on the base diet?

Some horses are sensitive enough to fast or large barometric pressure changes, and colic due to that, and for those, digestive supplements won’t help.

For others, it may be about removing more sugar from the diet, or removing soy, or using a higher (or lower) fat diet, for example.

dumb question- what are HT and IRC supplements?

I’d say HT is Horse Tech the company under discussion

And If I Rightly Recall, that’s what IIRC means in online speak

Yes, HT, sorry, as HorseTech was mentioned right above.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly.
