Best gift for a hunter/jumper trainer?

Holidays are here and it’s time to get busy with the gift buying!
Does anyone have suggestions on what to get my trainers for Christmas?
Around a $50 budget per trainer – one is in her 30s and the other two are in their 70s.
Trainer in her 30s rides, other two do not anymore.

Thanks!

I got a trainer an L.L. Bean tote with her name embroidered on it once. She used it every day. A nice sturdy canvas tote bag is a useful gift that will last for years. L.L. Bean also makes really nice hangable travel bags that have lots of compartments. They could be handy in a trailer, a tack locker, or a hotel bathroom.

Back when I was an assistant, my boss got me Chanel mascara and a manicure/pedicure gift certificate.

Personally, I love receiving a gift I wouldn’t get for myself. A manicure and pedicure was exactly what I needed after long hours on my feet and dunking my hands into water all day to clean tack.

For a young up-and-coming trainer, I always feel that money (or a gift certificate) is most appreciated. Usually I will give a small “tangible” gift (bottle of wine, horse-themed mug, food gift etc.) along with “fun” cash (like a $50 or $100 bill) or a gift certificate to Dover.

For a more established, prosperous trainer, I probably would not do money as a gift.

This is what I got my trainer this year! I had a local embroiderer add on the farm logo - usually if you ask around someone at the barn has the right digital file.

Anything comfy/cozy after a long day at the barn is usually a hit too - maybe those little back massagers? This list has a bunch of options under $50: https://nymag.com/strategist/article/best-electric-back-massagers.html.
