I’m looking for a half pad that helps fits the saddle better to my saddlebred mare. I have the saddle with adjustable gullet system but I cannot make it anymore narrow or it’ll pinch her. She appears to be really be in between sizes. I want the ones that doesn’t have the white fluffy to it on the underside cause in the summer, it gets too tricky to wash and rinse off! Please share your favorite ones!

I have two Christ sheepskin/fleece half pads that are over 10 years old so beige/yellowish fluffy underside. I use them between a regular pad and the saddle so they stay cleanish. I just machine wash them on cold with MELP and use the air only setting on the dryer. Pretty easy.

I really like this pad: https://shop.wilkers.com/hunter-jumper-half-pad/. Even though it’s called a “hunter/jumper pad,” it fits under dressage saddles fine, too. To wash, just toss it in your washer. Bonus is that you can choose both the pad color and the color of the trim.
