Hi All! My two KC Cavalier Spaniels have the run of my fenced property. They dig, they forage…I like to have a something on them that I can put a bell on, especially the older, as she’s deaf. Nice to know where they are. I have 3 kinds, and none of them stay on despite my adjustments. Curious if anyone has a fave. I did search the archives by the way!
I have the Balance harness from Cleanrun.org, who has the best customer service. They are super helpful and respond to emails very quickly.
I also have the Front Range and the Hi & Light harness from Ruffwear. The Front Range is a little heavy for our OK summers so I tend to use the Balance Harness more often.
My dogs are Miniature Schnauzers if that helps and are roughly 12 pounds. One of my girls gets out of harnesses very easily but has not escaped from the Balance Harness or the Front Range.
maybe change to one of the new dog collar Fi Series 3+ Smart Dog Collar that give you the ability to track the dog anywhere and keep track of habits and health?
- 24/7 live GPS tracking and health and activity monitoring for your pup’s safety and well-being.
- The custom virtual fences and escape alerts help to keep your dog within designated boundaries.
- There’s up to 3 months of battery life and wireless charging for convenience and peace of mind.
- This collar has a durable and waterproof design suitable for furry friends of all sizes.
Thanks! These look great! I found them on Cleanrun.com though, .org didn’t lead me there. And some on sale!
Thanks! I’ve been thinking of this. One of my friends has it for his cat. It’d be really fun. Will think about it!
Oops sorry about that. I should have double checked the .com / .org. I am glad you found some on sale!
A friend uses those including on a deaf dog and they’re great. But not useful if they won’t stay on.
I second the Flagline. Lightweight and hard wearing.
This is worth a read;
