Not a headlamp, OP, but I picked up one of these up at Lowes on Black Friday last year and got a lot of use out of it last winter: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Panther-Vision-48-Lumen-LED-Spotlight-Battery-Flashlight-Battery-Included/50200163
They’re also available on Amazon for the same price, but in more colors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PM687P2/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Love them because they shine a light downward, rather than out - so you get a nice little pool of light down on the ground in front of you. Makes picking stalls a bit easier since you don’t have to bend your head down as far to spotlight the piles, and also doesn’t blind whoever happens to be standing in front of you. They don’t have the nice red light feature, though.
Friends who walk dogs at night think they’re pretty great, too.
