The old staple GoPro line I seem to always go back to. Insta360 makes a camera you can pop a smaller part of the camera off to mount to the helmet but I can’t for the life of me remember the model name.

Hey there! Been awhile! Well, Thomas (Vital Eight) had to be put down a few years ago, progressive neurological disease. I’ve been riding Corona Classic but she’s earned some time off with a deep digital flexor tear. A lot of highs and lows in this sport!
Oh my gosh, I am so unbelievably sorry. 
He was a lovely boy, I loved all of the videos you shared of him. You two had an enviable partnership. Big hugs.

Corona is most likely going to be retired. 17, Cushings (treated) and a bad tear. She taught me a lot, my last show was exactly a year ago Training at Hoosier Horse Park. My 6 month move-up plan took 4 years. 
. Thomas was far more forgiving of my bad riding. 
Did you video it? And don’t I know it - my “quick turnaround project” took me 6 years to get to an event. Hang in there!!! I’m sorry to hear about Corona’s potential retirement. What does your future chapter look like, do you have another horse lined up?
And germane to the topic of helmet cams, you question made me do some research on what Elisa Wallace’s uses – I’ve been watching her a lot lately because I just love her Lissavora Quality mare. She uses a GoPro Max (from Best Buy/Amazon)
Her videos are always very crisp.

No, I did not, but it was worth the wait!! Thank you for the GoPro info, I think that’s the way to go moving forward. Gryhrs is still competing so the upgrade is for her.
