Best honest Used High end saddle seller?

I used to be a saddle rep and my go to were MD Tack Exchange and ISELLTACK. I am sure there is more to the story behind any bad experience with Rachel (ISELLTACK). Never know any of my clients or friends to have an issue.

Then why hasn’t Rachel come here to defend herself? She used to post here before she got into the business of selling saddles and continued to post when she first started selling and was getting good reviews. She stopped posting about the same time she stopped giving sellers back their money or their saddles. I remember how her reviews started to go bad after a while and there were far too many incidents of people complaining that she didn’t pay them or return their saddles for there not to be some truth to their claims. For the record, I never did business with Rachel but I do remember the threads about her, which should be easy enough to find by doing a search.

Rachel might have done a good job at first, but unfortunately I did not have great experiences with her either. Forgot to tell me my saddle sold, I had to chase her down for my check and then she sent me the check but it was unsigned. Finally did get my money so I moved on but left a bad taste in my mouth.

I would highly recommend Susy at High Line Tack. I’ve known her for years and used her to sell my last saddle. Great experience from start to finish.

Rachel’s last name is Schaeffer, as an FYI to anyone in case she opens up a new tack selling business or pops up at someone’s Barn with a 2015 17.5 Antares.

Too bad about iselltack; I sold two through her several years back and the experience was good with no problems. But the newer reviews here would keep me away now.

FineUsedSaddles sold one for me and I was very happy; we’d just agreed to lower the price on it when it went out on trial for full price, so when it sold, she could have told me it was for the sale price and kept the difference but didn’t (I would not have known). So I definitely count her as honest!

I sold my saddle through High Line Tack and it was a wonderful experience. From sending the saddle to her to receiving my money it was maybe 6 weeks, I think closer to 4. She kept me updated the whole time and was very polite. If I ever have to sell a saddle again, I will be using her.

I’ve bought and sold to Leah at Redwood Tack. She’s thorough and honest. Very timely with emails. I tried a few saddles from Susy at High Line Tack. She was very nice and also prompt in her responses. I would not hesitate to recommend either.

Sold through Old Dominion twice and bought and sold through MDTackExchange (and have had multiple friends buy and sell through either one of those…
all great experiences.) Zero problems and prompt payment processing. Taken a Saddle on trial from Redwood, no problems (everything was processed as expected) just Saddle was too big for me. I believe her saddles are all owned by her…Not on consignment.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ISELLTACK. Took my friend’s Saddle and never received payment, no return phone calls, no return emails. It’s been three years and no check and no sign of (at that time) a one year old Antares with buffalo leather. vanished!

Hi, I would like to know what saddle you are referring to? What is the serial number and what is your name? What is your client’s name? This is alarming to read and the first that I am seeing that a brand new Antares has vanished under my care. Please provide more information via text message to my number 240-643-3989. I have nothing to sell at the moment, but hopefully you can do something for the people who claim they never received their money or their saddles. I do find it strange that you stopped posting about the same time people started complaining about you.

I have sold two saddles through www.HighlineTack.com and several others at my barn have as well. Susy is great to work with and keeps you updated about the status of trials, etc.
