I have found this to work really well, even on a saddle that can sometimes push the pad out the back (I feel I must add the saddle is fitted to him and the saddle fitter will be coming soon for a flocking touch-up :)).
Has anyone had issues with wither rubs when using the EcoGold pads? Do they still grip well on a sweaty horse? How do they hold up in the wash?
EcoGold, no rubs, wash well and stay in place.

I’ve had no issues with rubs. Mine stays put no matter what - galloping xc courses and hours-long trail rides. I wash mine with Oxyclean. It’s held up pretty well to three years of steady abuse, although I should probably replace it soon.
No issues at all with mine either, and I use it on a sensitive mare that marks easily!
I love Wilkers pads. I use the show pad with no billet straps. Fits my saddle perfectly and looks great!
Those of you that use the Success or Eco Gold saddle pads… how do they fit? I have a 17" short flap saddle, would I use a Med or Lrg?
If you email EcoGold, they’re very helpful with trying to match a pad to your saddle. If you’ve got a really unusual one, they’ll custom make a pad too, which is what I had done for my sidesaddle.
