What are the best icing wraps for knees? Do ice horse packs stay cold?
A person has some at the barn and they are all leaking but I don’t know how old they are.

My general experience with the Ice Horse and other gel-based ice packs, is they stay cold for up to about 30 minutes but once they warm up they hold heat very well.
I got some reusable ice packs from Walmart that have a Tyvek-type exterior that stay very flexible, more so than the Ice Horse. I just secure it with a polo wrap, though if I had Saratoga wraps, I’d prefer them as they wouldn’t hold heat. You should be able to secure a flexible ice pack on the knee with a figure 8 wrap, above a standing wrap or polo to help hold it up.
I use zip loc bags with the dawn/alcohol mixture and secure with an ace bandage. I’ve used frozen peas as well.
