Best Lawn Mowers (that won't break after a couple years)

Remember you’re on a thread with someone who has no idea why their mower is throwing the belt.

I’m pretty sure at some point in my life I have not had any idea why the lawnmower was throwing a belt. I had no reason to find out, nor the time or inclination to do same. Fast forward to the present and I am a 70 something retiree on a fixed income. Presto - I have the time and inclination to fix my own mower. I also do not assume any poster is in the same or a different situation to mine.

We have had no problems with our Husqvarna. Neither my husband or I know anything about mechanical work so we send it for maintenance every spring to be sure it will run without problems every year. We have learned how to change the belts ourselves, but that’s the extent of our abilities. I did a ton of research before we bought in about 5 years ago and I can’t remember why I picked it, but it was my top choice after all the research.
