BEST online horse game?

I didn’t personally enjoy the game (too much emphasis on breeding for my liking)… but HorseWorldOnline lets you wander around a stable/pasture/community/etc area. Not quite the sims, but it isn’t a “flat” game like all the ones being suggested to you (meaning it is a website with links and not a 3d view… unless they have all changed recently).

Riding Club Championships closed down? Dang. I enjoyed that game. I think for a similar experience you’d be better off trying to find a downloadable version of PC games. Trust me, they are out there.

Does anyone remember horseland before it was all cartoonie and ridiculous? I have one of the highly sought after 6 digit account numbers. Miss that game. It went to crap when they turned it into a tv show and changed things around so much. Also with the changes came me losing millions of $$ in the game and all my horses. Guess that’s what happens when you don’t login for a few years. I can also thank the original horseland for giving me a quick education in HTML and photoshop for the horse photos!

Been searching for a time sucker like it ever since. Might have to try Horse Eden!

Horse Eden is worth investigating, but if you play, try reading one of the tutorials from the big players before getting too far away with it and spending all your money. There’s lots of assistance in the gaming forums.

Horseland did used to be fun, but yes, the tv destroyed it.

Howrse was okay. It got really repetitive and there wasn’t much variation between breeds and colors… the game was always trying to get into your wallet book.

I love some german thing where you jumped all these obstacles, just gallped along and had to learn to time your jumps. I forget what it was called and don’t know if its around any more. Wish I could find it again!

I was in the first couple hundred. Horseland and Hay!Land were huge two decades ago (near two decades for Hay!Land). I think it went down hill way before the TV show and my account definitely does not work anymore. Impressive it is still around and hey they are getting lots of $ so it can’t be said that they “ruined” it. Ruined it for the older players sure, but revamped it and sucked in a whole new generation

Horse Eden is honestly so much better. You can have goals (showing, breeding, color, etc) and it takes real time to get to where you want to be.

I have 66 horses and am thoroughly entertained. Most of them are home-bred warmbloods and thoroughbreds being trained and shown in eventing. My barn is small, so I only make a few thousand a night from shows.

After reading this, I thought I would checkout Horse Eden and I’m struggling lol. I think I may be way too impatient for this game and I’m also just about out of money already!!

My favorite game that has everything (except barn customization) that you’re looking for was the old PC game called Horse Illustrated Championship Season. I have a ripped copy on a CD from a friend in the early 2000’s. The graphics are pretty good for the age of the game. Someone had suggested downloading a PC game to get everything you want, so I figured I’d give you a recommendation. I’ve been trying to find a cheap PC or free online game similar to this one for years. I’m a BIG fan of gallop racer (PS3) and Sims 3, but I haven’t found a good online/phone game that compares. I may also have to check out Horse Eden.

Oh man…like I need any more time sucking things in my life!
But does anyone know of any games like these for Macs? Seems like all the fun stuff is for PC only :(. Why did I decide to buy a Mac??

HFSHC. Great game, I play it when I have the time.

I did the same thing and I’m kind of lost haha I read the beginners guide but I’m not sure where to go from there

Starstable is good.

All different breeds to buy and train. You care for your horses and there are lots of competitions and quests to do. Updates with star coins given out every week so you really only have to pay for it once. It’s free until level 4 or 5.

Not online, but Horse Life Adventures for Wii does what you want and it only cost $5 at Walmart.

I used to play Show Jumping and Show Jumping II (I don’t think they were related to each other). Basically just jumping courses that got higher and more complex as you went up the levels. No story, no barn management or breeding, just jumping the courses, but fun, and good eye-hand coordination. I don’t know if they’re still around or not.

Star Stable online is honestly the best horse game I have played and I haven’t seen another like it. You can look after your horse, race, buy new tack and clothing. the graphics are amazing and so is the story line. can’t recommend it enough. also, I think that riding club championships is available for free on steam which is also free to download and use

Horse Eden is definitely my favorite! It’s super addictive and really fun. horseeden.com/index.php?referral=263691

Oh man do I remember being obsessed with HorseLand! Haven’t been on there in probably 15 years though. Sad to hear it went downhill

Definitely StarStable! It’s actually really interesting and the graphics are great. And man do I miss the old Horseland…used to be such a great game! I played HorseIsle for awhile and enjoyed it (the first one, not HI2 since I didn’t have the bandwidth to support it) the graphics are bad but it has a bunch of quests and mini games.

Be careful on HEE
The Game owner doesn’t take Criticism well

I know this is a zombie thread, but Lucinda Green’s Equestrian Challenge is now on Steam for like $4. I bought it a couple weeks ago and beat it pretty quickly, but nothing matches riding around a mock up of our favorite 5* cross country courses
