Our farm is looking for a new trainer and I’m a bit at a loss on how to get the word out. I have tried Yard and Groom but haven’t found the right candidate yet. Suggestions please?
Word of mouth. Call your fellow trainers/barns and let them know you’re hiring if they know of anyone. That’s where I’ve always found the most reliable hires.
Outside of that, Facebook. But you’re going to have to weed through A LOT of BS.

Vets, farriers, other Equine service providers have a large network of clients, let them know you are looking. They may know somebody and/or can share your needs.
