Thus far, I’ve seen Virginia Equestrian which is great but probably has limited readership.
Yard and Groom is very pricey as one has to register and pay a minimum of $160 and that is for 6 months.
Any other suggestions?
Have you put up ads in the tack shops and feed stores? Mentioned it to other trainers? Vets and farriers? You could also try classified ads in the little VA horse mags like Horse Talk and the Horse Show News (I think that’s what it’s called).
The type of position you are filling is most likely going to be filled locally, so Y & G isn’t going to be worth the money, I don’t think. I would network via word of mouth and with local ads.
