I’m looking for a Prolite pad, not the one where you can add shims, just the regular relief pad. Before I click on buy on the Redpost (UK) site, was wondering if there’s a US based retailer / stockist with lower prices. I’m seeing them at over $100 and would like to keep it under that. What’s shipping like from the UK? Expensive?
For UK ordering it really depends where you buy. I buy from discount-equestrian.co.uk when I have a few things saved up and they generally flat-rate international shipping to £20, which is usually far, far less than I’m saving. Another one that I’ve found reliable is Old Mill, who sometimes has fantastic deals but charged me £50 postage last time around. I’d say £15-20 is typical for larger horse stuff, but I’ve had small stuff come via small parcel for only a pound or two.
Anyone you buy from in the UK or Europe should subtract VAT (20%) once you put in a US shipping address, which also helps.
