I’m looking for some information on best websites to advertise horse properties? Is there any particular go-to places you look at first? I’m interested in ones that have the most exposure and are genuinely effective in marketing horse properties specifically.
Let me know if I should post this thread in a different forum topic, I thought this one was most appropriate.
Any information provided would be greatly appreciated!
The Chronicle has a real-estate section and a “feature” from time to time.
Following:-) so far my place is on COTH real estate, National Publication “Land and Farm”. Any and all regional papers (I’m in the northeast) so Equine Journal and some others, Facebook ask everyone to share (might get lucky). As for websites I’ve found most link to realtors and are not very updated.
A lot of realtors specialize in horse properties in “poplular” parts of the country. I am currently working with such a person and it’s SO much better than a traditional, non-horsey POC. Their website has as many pictures of the barn and paddocks as the house, and things like stall number and size, mats, ring footing, hay storage type, etc are listed in the sale ad. If you have google “horse farm for sale in xx” you should come up with hits of local pros specializing in your area of interest, but this is probably only going to work in New England, parts of NC and SC, FL, etc.
