I have Walsh and Quillin’s of similar vintage. Both are quality products. IMO Quillin’s look a bit more “workmanlike” but with outstanding brass and Walsh a bit “prettier”. I have a hunter bias.
That’s really helpful. I’m actually a dressage rider with a love for bling and detail so “prettier” is definitely my speed.
