Horse is having what I believe to be hindgut issues. What is the best prebiotic/probiotic?
I have had good luck with the contents/price of SmartDigest OR SmartDigest Ultra depending on your price range/needs.
Both have a good selection of pre/probiotics and yeast. I’ve not found one that really compares in the price range as far as the quantity of probiotics in the product.
One of the best prebiotics I’ve used is RationPlus, which is a liquid that you can pour onto the feed. I think Smartpak carries it.
For probiotics, the product made by Platinum products, Platinum Balance, is excellent.
I like Fast Trak and I believe it’s inexpensive.
A packet of yeast, or a beer.

Platinum Balance contains prebiotics as well.
