Best price for Gastrogard?

Where is everyone finding the best price for Gastrogard? It looks like I’ll need to do the full treatment (just a guess…we have a scope scheduled) so I’m trying to plan ahead. Thanks!

Allivet has it for 32.49 a tube. I just had my gelding scoped has ulcers. I’m not treating he’s not Showing symptoms.

Generic omeprazole is available. Liquid that is dosed by mouth syringe, 10 cc per day for a month. Some people say that it isn’t as effective as the expensive stuff, but my vets recommend it, and sell it, and say that that is not true. If you are looking to economize, it may be an option for you to consider. It was $200 for a bottle the last time I bought some, and one bottle is more than enough for a full treatment, you can store the left over for the next time you may need it.

OP… check this thread out. It may be of interest to you if you are willing to test it out. I did and had good results!

Allivet has UG for $29.99. ValleyVet has it for $30.00. There is a $2.00 per tube rebate. UG is the same thing as GG, one requires an Rx, the other doesn’t. Same active ingredient, made by the same manufacturer.

Yep! OP, a whole lot of us have gone the nexium route with good results. A month plus taper is less than two days of gastrogard.

Rood and Riddle has the best price I found, $29 a tube of Ulcergard (same as gastrogard!) with free shipping for 6+ and comes with rebate for $5 a tube. The shipping is super quick too.

Has anyone tried to submit a rebate in 2018? I tried yesterday and the Merial site said there were no current rebates available…bummer.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I placed an order right before the end of 2017 but it didn’t process until 1/2 so now I can’t use the rebate… Do they typically have one every year?

Bumping this thread because I too have had the same issue. Bought a bunch of it in December from my vet, in January it said no rebates available, now they are available but only for purchases starting Jan 1. Also it appears to be only via a clunky mail-in system, what happened to the sleek online portal they had?

In case not everyone has noticed the Merial rebate is working again!

Thank you!! Bumping this up in case other people missed it like I did.
