I have a Exiss Aluminum trailer that is painted a light gold. What is the best product to use to clean it? I thought about taking it through a truck wash but I am worried it will damage the paint. Also, what do you use to brighten the chrome on the trailer?
I have used the the Simple Green but the purple color

My trailer is an aluminum that is painted white.
I use Mother’s Products for my trailer —Mother’s Car Wash soap followed by Mother’s Car Wax. If it is really dirty, or has black streaks, I use SoftScrub and a yellow-green scrubby sponge. It doesn’t affect the paint, but try it on a hidden surface first to be sure. I wax after washing and once a year use Mother’s Car Clay --ok, my DH is a car guy. He gives me all his stuff to use. For aluminum I use Mother’s Mag Polish. Lots of YouTube video on how great it works and how to use it --but it’s your basic apply, rub, polish stuff. I use it on diamond plate and trim. I use Mother’s Back To Black on all window trim, and Mother’s Tire Shine on the tires and pads in the trailer --don’t get it on the floor though it is slick.
