I am sure we have older threads in this but an update may be helpful. I’m willing ship my sadddle anywhere. Who do y’all think are the best saddle repair shops for substantial jobs (I need a full seat replacement; about a $900 job). Any that I should avoid, you can advise as well. Thanks.
Paramount Saddlery. It’s where Butet sends all their repairs in Canada.
Smith Worthington in Hartford, CT does nice work. Have heard good things about Beval in NJ as well.
Siegel Saddlery in Massachusetts - He replaced the broken tree in my daughters saddle. His was the successful identification and solution to an ill fitting saddle problem which was not diagnosed or remediated successfully by 4 saddle fitters. Saddle came out beautiful, sound and perfect. It looks new again.

That’s cool! Didn’t know that. A lady at the barn I board at just bought a dressage saddle from them, and they actually sent her pictures during the entire process as it was being built. FYI for the OP - if you do send to paramount saddlery, my friend only has great things to say about them, especially the customer service.
The Tack Shack of Ocala does major saddle repairs as well.
