I am in the market for my first shadbelly. I am in the hot and humid Houston area. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you
I have a custom Shadbelly that Jo McCraken of South East Sport Horse (sesporthorse.com) made for me. It is super light weight and vented. Hot, humid North Carolina.
Thank you
Second this, her coats are awesome, love my shad from her, I believe I’ll be getting a short coat from her as well before next season! (And if I’m being honest, possibly another tail coat.)
I have this in regular jacket form and it is really nice for hot hot weather. It is basically mesh but doesn’t look it at all. AA Horseware Motionlite.
I have two RJ Classics and a Noel Asmar. They are by far the best fit for me through the shoulders and chest, but none are particularly thin or light weight. I’m super interest in that AA MotionLite!
Montar’s unlined tech fabric shadbelly is both lightweight and fits well, at just $199.00 when it isn’t on sale.
I don’t usually like tech fabrics but at 5’ 3” 125 a size EUR38 fits perfectly (I always have to shorten sleeves) and shows no lumps or bumps.
How does the Motionlite fit? It only comes in S, M, L etc. I’m worried about being a in between size. Will anyone share height/weight and what size works for them?
I have a small, I’m 5’2 and 135lbs with a 36 chest. I have short arms, the arms a bit long but thats normal for me. That being said, since losing 20 lbs (was 150+) I need the XS now.
