Best Shampoo for Palominos?

Now that it’s getting cooler and wetter, and not 120 degrees everyday, my horse is really feeling himself and always manages to find the one spot to roll in and play that gets him the dirtiest. He’s a beautiful palomino- when he’s clean.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a shampoo that works particularly well for a palomino? I’ve been just using the Mane and Tail we stock at the barn- while it does remove the dirt he doesn’t get that real clean, shiny, glow that brings out his coloring. Everything I’ve found seems to be targeted to either bays, chestnuts or grays and was wondering if anyone had any advice on what would work best on my guy

Thank you so much! And I hope I posted this in the right place!

Why not try a purple shampoo? They’re marketed for greys but they can work for palominos too! Depending on how light he is, it should definitely brighten up his coat. Kind of like how purple shampoos work for blonde people.

I have a dark gold palomino. I like Equiderma’s Neem and Aloe Shampoo. It leaves his coat with a beautiful, clean shine. I use Vetrolin’s White and Bright on his mane and tail.
